This video clip dedicated to my dear friend
and companion on my Spiritual Path, Sigi Deepa...she died of 'lupus',
terrible disease that she battled for so long.
At the first breakout of her malady, she fell into coma...the doctors
could not predict the outcome. In my desperation to reach her beyond
the body, I put her favorite music and began to dance slowly falling
into meditation in motion, in attempt to reach her beyond the body and
seduce her back into live...2 days later she came back into consciousness
and first thing she told me, as I came to see her...Abhi you were dancing
for me!!! On the other side!!! I could see you dancing in Bardo...
The montage of pictures in this clip are from Birthday party after her
first recovery..
Unfortunately, in January 2003 she feel into coma again and did not come
back, I was not there to dance for her, I move to California, by the
time I discovered she was in coma, it was too late...I could not bring
her back, she wanted to' bail out' she did not let me know...
She loved my dance, she was inspiration for me to continue my work
in Healing Dance, that transcends the boundaries of body and reaches
to higher levels of consciousness
I know you are dancing Sigi Deepa David...wherever you are....
